The Bay of Connections is the economic strategy for the wider Bay of Plenty region. It includes industries and sectors from Tauranga and the Western Bay of Plenty through to Rotorua, the Eastern Bay of Plenty and Taupo.
Bay of Connections is led by its Governance Group, supported by the region’s Economic Development Agencies, New Zealand Trade and Enterprise and the Bay of Plenty Regional Council. It also works with local and national agencies, organisations and businesses.
