Geothermal Week is back for 2022, bringing a diverse range of events for industry, investors, schools and local communities.
Located in the heart of the Taupo Volcanic Zone, where the majority of New Zealand’s geothermal industry is based, the week aims to showcase, celebrate and advance our world-class industry.
More than 2700 people attended 16 events at last year’s inaugural event, which included networking, career expos, power station open days, public seminars, industry workshops, school STEAM activities and science competitions.
This year’s events, held from 25 to 29 July, will highlight how the industry is delivering to the quadruple bottom-line, realising environmental, social and cultural goals alongside financial performance.
The week’s anchor event, the New Zealand Geothermal Association Winter Seminar, will be themed Towards Net Zero: Building a Sustainable Future.
There will be more than 18 events on offer, from seminars, workshops and networking, to career insights, field trips, science and photo competitions.
Spaces are limited and last year’s events booked out, so early registration is a must.
